The organizations with which WCG has worked have been very satisfied with contributions we have made to their respective organizations.
“Mr. Wasserman’s development consulting has proven to be an integral addition to ICA-Art Conservation. He himself made the engagement possible by writing capacity building grants to build the infrastructure for the organization’s development function. As the Adjunct Development Director, he has written our development plan, created job descriptions for development committee members and built a development committee. He has conducted an annual fundraising campaign, planned and executed events and generated additional grant funding. In addition, he has played a critical role in board recruitment and development, as well as enhancing the awareness of the organization by staffing the marketing committee of the ICA. We are exceptionally pleased with the results of the engagement.”

“Mt. Alverna Village, a 501(c)(3) assisted living/skilled nursing facility in Parma, retained The Wasserman Consulting Group and McCormick Consulting to conduct a feasibility study to determine whether or not we should embark on a capital campaign to raise the money to build a Life Enrichment Center and a Therapy Center. The two firms assisted with the identification and recruitment of the members of the steering committee and selected participants for the study. After a systematic interview process and environmental scan, we were able to determine the community’s capacity to support a $5 million capital campaign and how we should go about securing the funds. Wasserman and McCormick were then retained to conduct the campaign. They have been great partners in this endeavor, always professional and extremely thorough in their dealings with staff and the public. They have developed a true passion for our mission.”

“Community Greenhouse Partners (CGP) is a start-up non-profit that acquired a de-commissioned Catholic Church and is converting it into a sustainable model for producing locally grown organic foods in an urban environment. Wasserman joined us early on in the project working closely with the Board and staff in identifying funding opportunities. He worked tirelessly to introduce the organization and its concept to funding community. His ability to help create awareness of our organization resulted in significant seed funding that served as the foundational monies to get the project off the ground. He also worked with members of the Board in advancing the governance of the organization. His development skills, leadership and business acumen have created great value for CGP.”
